I completely missed the fact that the Top Ten Tuesday prompt last week was a freebie. There seem to have been a flurry of BEA-related TTT posts this week and since I will be BEA, I decided to join in (you know, a few days late). I’m highlighting 10 books that I’m most excited for at BEA this year!

1. Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

ASDFGHJKL; I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK. I really enjoy books about witches and magic, plus I love the fact that it features a strong female friendship! Plus, Susan Dennard wrote it. How much better can it get?

2. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I am a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha trilogy, and I was so excited to learn there would be a companion to this series. I’m hoping to pick this up at her signing on Friday.

3. The Rest of us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness

What if you weren’t the Chosen One? The Rest of Us Just Live Here has one of the most interesting concepts I’ve read about recently, and I’m can’t wait to read it. Plus, I have heard great things about this author!

4. Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch

Snow Like Ashes was one of my absolute favorite reads from last year so naturally, I can’t wait to read the sequel! It’s going to be really interesting to see where the author takes Meira’s story in this second installment, and I am already hearing positive things about it!

5. Another Day by David Levithan

I didn’t love Every Day, but it was a pretty good book, and I am quite interested in Another Day, since it is told from Rhiannon’s (the love interest in Every Day) perspective.

6. Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray

I own The Diviners by Libba Bray, and I REALLY want to read it soon, since this is the sequel! I enjoyed A Great And Terrible Beauty (also by Libba Bray) and I really like her writing style, so I have high hopes for this series.

7. Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid

This looks like an adorable romance. I feel like Never Always Sometimes would be a perfect summer read, and I really like the idea of a “Never List” (see blurb for details).

8. Hello? by Liza M. Wiemer

The cover is beautiful, and I really want to read more contemporary novels! This one sounds just amazing, and the author is absolutely lovely.

9. Spinning Starlight by RC Lewis

Stitching Snow was another FANTASTIC 2014 read and judging from the blurb, Spinning Starlight will be just as amazing! And seriously, that cover is gorgeous.

10. The Copper Gauntlet by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black

Does anyone remember my review of The Iron Trial? I adored it, so I am really excited for the sequel. I’m not even sure that ARCs of this book exist, but if they do, I would love to read one!

If I was going to BEA, I would definitely be excited about picking up Ice Like Fire. I loved Snow Like Ashes, and I’m so glad you recommended it to me. Meira is such a strong heroine, and I can’t wait to see what other obstacles Sara Raasch throws her way.

I think I am the most excited for Truthwitch and Six of Crows! (also I don’t know if you know, but Truthwitch is ticketed! You need to get at the Macmillan Booth at 1pm on Wednesday to get a ticket!) There’s only going to be 100 ARCs of them (this actually may be a lot and I just don’t know_

Oh I hope you have tons of fun at BEA! One of my most anticipated releases is Never Always Sometimes, it just sounds so fantastic! I’ve been seeing Truthwitch and Six of Crows on a lot of lists! 🙂 I don’t know much about the former though. Ooh, Another Day.<3 I'm kind of into that one. I'm really into The Rest of Us Just Live Here. I just heard of Hello? a few days ago. I love the Spinning Starlight cover! I'll have to look more into that one.

    Great list!
